The results of the Exenatide Phase II clinical trial for Parkinson’s disease were published on the Lancet website on August 3, 2017. The results of the study are good. The motor symptoms of the study participants taking a placebo proceeded to get worse over the study, while those in the Exenatide treated group did not. This study represents an important step forward for Parkinson’s disease research.
